High Quality and Steep Discounts - how it works

The Development Stage Discount on Courses

Courses in the development stage are available for a very limited time at a steep discount-typically about 50%-75% off of the price charged when the course is completed. That is because, while the videos are being recorded and uploaded, your patience and support allows us to continue creating.

The Author Site Discount for materials

Our printed materials are available on a number of sales outlets, but they are far more expensive there. That is because on those web pages the fees that go to the platform can represent 10%-30% of the sales price. By buying them on my website, you get that commission in discounts. Instead of paying a platform 20%, that 20% goes to you in the form of a discount for purchasing direct from us.

Mrs. Colter’s in-depth task analysis transforms work tasks into a user-friendly handbook that helps teachers lead students in self-directed choice within a task. When using the handbook with students, behaviors are significantly reduced as the step-by-step process gives them ownership and independence. I would highly recommend any of Mrs. Colter's items!

Get Started With One of My Courses!

Creative Writing

These courses are designed to help students from 1st-12th grade [including students with communication challenges & non-verbal students] whether they like creative writing or not. Through a series of questions and answers and creative prompts, you will guide students through creative writing. There is also an option for students who want to practice “Storytelling skills” by sharing the story orally as they go rather than writing it down. Students who want to dive deeper will enjoy the section on revision.

This course is suitable for homeschoolers or classroom teachers.

This exclusive “In Development” discount gives you the full series-all 12 grades and levels-for less than half the cost of a single level at full price. In fact, the in development discount will even make it less than the book on this topic releasing later this year.

Homeschooling basics

You’ve read the books. You’ve talked to other homeschool families. But how do you DO it???

In this 8 lesson course I will go over basics to help you get started and begin to feel confident in your homeschool. Topics I cover in the basics are:

  •         Deciding what you will teach, where and when.
  •         Considerations for balancing your commitment to education and home.
  •         Are chores REALLY a part of the school day?
  •         Lesson plans, tests, grading, and projects.
  •         Juggling different grade levels, abilities, and schedules.
  •         Your homeschooling goals and philosophies.
  •         Your first day of school.
  •         Learning to teach and growing as your child’s teacher.

This course is currently in-development meaning I am in the process of recording all of the videos in the series. You can get this at its “in-development” price, as I upload each lesson the price will increase until all lessons are uploaded. No matter when you purchase the course, you will have access to all of the videos that comprise the full course as they are uploaded. The benefits of signing up sooner is the substantial cost savings.
